Back in late 2020, we transformed a tired conservatory in Manor Park into a bright, modern kitchen-diner—perfect for entertaining and everyday living.
After carefully demolishing the existing structure, we poured new footings and built a fully insulated, reinforced concrete slab to form the foundation of the new single-storey extension. Attention to detail was key, with floor levels meticulously planned to ensure a seamless flow between the old and new spaces.
The extension features a mono-pitched timber roof with three Velux skylights, flooding the space with natural light. A large tri-fold door opens onto the garden, while a reclaimed UPVC window was integrated on the side elevation, maximising light and minimising waste.
Structural work included the installation of two large steel beams to support the original building, allowing us to open up the space with minimal disruption. The roof was finished in concrete tiles with low-maintenance UPVC soffits and fascia.
Internally, we rerouted services—including waste and SVP pipework—to keep the space clean and clutter-free. Once plastered and prepared, the space was ready for kitchen installation, flooring, and final fix electrics.
The customer completed the look with landscaping to create a stunning indoor-outdoor space that blends style with functionality.
